General Electric IC698RMX016 Redundancy Memory Xchange Module
Item Number: IC698RMX016
Brand: GE
Lead Time: In stock
Description: Redundancy Memory Xchange Module
Payment: T/T
Product Description
GE IC698RMX016 is a Redundancy Memory Xchange Module, mainly used in RX7i systems, and can be used as a reflective memory network node or a dedicated data transmission link in a redundant CPU system.
When used as a reflective memory network node, IC698RMX016 can realize data sharing between PLC and other computing devices; when used in a CPU redundancy system, IC698RMX016 can establish a data transmission path between two redundant CPUs to ensure synchronization between the primary and standby CPUs. The module adopts a single-slot design, supports fiber optic connections, and is connected to VMIC 5565 series reflective memory devices.
Function & Features
GE IC698RMX016
Reflective Memory Network Node
When used as a network node, IC698RMX016 supports reflective memory networks with up to 256 nodes. When data is written to a node, all nodes are automatically updated. The network rate reaches 2.12 Gbaud, and the RX7i CPU does not need to be involved in processing.
Redundant CPU Link
In a CPU redundant system, IC698RMX016 provides a data transmission path for two redundant CPUs. It requires one RMX module and two optical fibers to form a dual-node ring (other nodes are not allowed to access). It is recommended to configure two redundant links (a total of 4 modules), or a single link (a total of 2 modules) can be selected.
