GE IS220PDIOH1A is a GE Mark VIe discrete input/output module. This discrete input/output (PDIO) assembly provides an interface between one or two Ethernet I/O networks and discrete I/O terminal blocks. It combines the functionality of a PDIA (discrete input) module and a PDOA (discrete output) module into a single assembly.

Note: The IS220PDIOH1A features two Ethernet ports and can be used with the TDBSH2A and TDBTH2A terminal blocks (for hazardous locations).

Function & Features

  • Discrete Inputs: The IS220PDIOH1A supports up to 24 contact inputs. The signals are converted to digital signals by the acquisition board and transmitted to the control system via Ethernet.
  • Discrete Outputs: The IS220PDIOH1A controls up to 12 relay outputs (such as equipment start/stop commands and valve control signals). The relay output status is transmitted in real time via feedback signals.
  • Self-Test and Auto-Configuration: Upon power-up, the IS220PDIOH1A's processor performs a self-test and loads application-specific code from flash memory. This code reads the board application code, acquisition board, and terminal board information.
