The Bently Nevada 3500/46M Hydro Monitor (176449-06) is a four-channel machinery protection module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System.
It is specifically engineered for hydroelectric turbines, generators, and large rotating machines, providing real-time measurement and protection against mechanical faults such as vibration, shaft displacement, and eccentricity.
The 3500/46M processes input signals from Proximitor® proximity probes and seismic transducers, converting these signals into precise vibration and displacement readings. The monitor continuously compares measured values against programmed Alert and Danger limits to initiate alarms or shutdown actions when required.
The 176449-06 version represents the rear I/O module used in combination with the front monitor module (46M). Together, they provide a complete monitoring solution for hydro machinery applications.
