Product Description

The HIMA F6217 is an eight-channel analog input module designed for use in safety-related control systems. It supports both current (0/4…20 mA) and voltage (0…5/10 V) signal inputs and features integrated safe isolation between channels, making it suitable for high-integrity applications (up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508). The module contains a redundant, safety‐related processor system which carries out continuous self-tests of analog-to-digital converters, input filters, cross-talk between channels and I/O bus communication. It is optimized for use in process control, industrial automation and safety instrumentation systems where modular analog input integration is required.
