Triconex 3700A Analog Input Module
Product Description
Triconex analog input modules are designed with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture and are developed specifically for critical monitoring applications in process industries. They have three independent input channels.
By converting the variable voltage signals at each input point into digital values and transmitting them to the three main processor modules as needed, the system can maintain normal operation in the event of a single channel failure, meeting the IEC 61508 SIL 3 safety level requirements.
Function&Features
- Three-channel independent architecture: It has three independent input channels, each of which receives variable voltage signals at each point and converts them into digital values
- Median selection algorithm: In TMR (triple module redundancy) mode, a median selection algorithm is used to select a value from the data of the three channels to ensure that the correct data is obtained each time.
- External terminal panel interface: It needs to be connected to the Tricon backplane through a cable and an independent external terminal panel (ETP) to achieve physical isolation and modular deployment.
