ABB NTAM01 Analog Master Termination Unit

ABB NTAM01 is a terminal unit designed for redundant IMAMM03 analog master modules and is only required in the following scenarios:

• When used with thermocouple slave modules (such as IMASM02);
• When connected to digital indicating stations (such as NDIS01).

The NTAM01 unit is essentially a single printed circuit board (PCB) that can be installed in the NFTP01 field terminal panel and connected to the equipment through factory pre-wired cables. ABB NTAM01' core function is to transmit cold junction temperature compensation signals and internal calibration signals between the IMAMM03 master module and slave modules (such as thermocouples, millivolt modules), while supporting communication between redundant master modules.

• - NTAM01 can connect up to 4 NDIS01 digital indication stations.

Signal transmission function

• - NTAM01 transmits the slave calibration voltage from the IMAMM03 master module to the NTAI02 unit.

• - NTAM01 transmits the cold junction reference temperature of the NTAI02 unit to the IMAMM03 master module.

• - NTAM01 supports bidirectional transmission of cold junction temperature compensation and internal calibration signals between the master and slave modules.
