Product Description
Bently Nevada 200350-01-00-CN accelerometer, part of the 200350 series, is a universal, chassis-mounted seismic accelerometer. Designed for use with the Trendmaster Pro Constant Current Direct Input Card (Model 149811-02) and Seismic Direct Input Card (Model 164746-01), this accelerometer uses piezoelectric sensing to convert vibration into a measurable differential voltage signal.
It is primarily used to detect vibration in machine casings and assist in determining the operating status of equipment, such as rotating machinery.
Function & Features
- Piezoelectric Sensing Element: The 200350-01-00-CN uses a piezoelectric crystal that generates an electrical charge signal when subjected to vibration.
- Axial Sensitivity: The 200350-01-00-CN only measures vibration parallel to the sensor's sensitive axis and requires proper alignment with the machine's vibration direction.
- Measurement Limitations: Casing vibration measurement requires effective transmission of rotor vibration to the sensor's mounting location (e.g., bearing seat). Otherwise, it may not accurately reflect internal machine conditions (e.g., rotor imbalance, misalignment, etc.).
- Connector: The 200350-01-00-CN features a MIL-C-5015 two-pin connector on the top and a ¼-28 threaded hole on the bottom.
