Product Description

The IC695CPE310 is a CPU module in the GE Fanuc PACSystem RX3i series. It communicates with I/O modules and intelligent option modules via a dual-purpose backplane with PCI and serial capabilities. It features a 1.1 GHz Atom processor, 10 MB of memory, and a built-in Ethernet interface. It supports up to 512 program blocks, each with a maximum size of 128 KB.

Note: After upgrading to CPE310, RS-232 Pin 5 no longer provides 5V power supply.

  • Hardware Requirements: The IC695CPE310 uses a 1.1 GHz Intel Atom processor (approximately three times faster than the 300 MHz Celeron processor in the previous generation C695CPU310).
  • Programming Features: The IC695CPE310 offers tag-based programming, a reusable code library, and a test edit mode.
  • Programming and Software: The IC695CPE310 supports languages such as Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, C, and Function Block Diagram.
  • Installation: The IC695CPE310 can be placed in any pair of slots in the RX3i main controller chassis, avoiding the two highest-numbered slots.
