Product Description
Honeywell 10100/2/1 Horizontal Bus Driver (HBD) is a basic module installed in the I/O rack. It consists of two parts: the electronic part (10100/2/1) and the flat cable (A1, A21 or A22).
It is connected to the vertical bus flat cable between the central part and the I/O rack through the back connector CN1. The flat cable extending from the front of the module connects the HBD module to the horizontal bus above the I/O rack. The address selection line of the I/O module is terminated at the back of the horizontal bus through the flat cable on the connector CN3.
Function & Features
- Application configuration: 10100/2/1 can be used with different flat cables according to different I/O configuration requirements. Flat cable A1 is used for non-redundant I/O; flat cable A21 is used for redundant I/O, and each HBD corresponds to one rack
- Replaceable with power: 10100/2/1 modules can be replaced with power on, but if the HBD is safety-related, the central part will be shut down when replaced.
