Product Description
GE IC693CMM311 Communications Coprocessor Module is a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 product line that provides coprocessing capabilities for Series 90-30 CPUs (such as 311, 313, and 323 models). It is primarily used for external communications and cannot be used with embedded CPUs.
Note: Version 4.0, released in July 1996, resolves the problem in earlier versions where receiving a cancel datagram request would cancel all established datagrams on both slaves in the same module when both ports were configured as SNP slaves.
Function & Features
- Protocol support: IC693CMM311 supports GE Fanuc CCM communication protocol, SNP protocol and RTU (Modbus) slave communication protocol.
- Software configuration: IC693CMM311 can be configured through the configuration software, or the default settings can be selected, which can be configured according to actual conditions.
- Dual serial port design: IC693CMM311 has two serial ports, port 1 supports RS-232 applications, port 2 supports RS-232 or RS-485 applications, and is equipped with a Y-type cable (IC693CBL305) to separate the two ports.
