Product Description
Emerson A6110 Shaft Relative Vibration Monitor is a component of the AMS 6500 Machinery Protection System. This module uses non-contact displacement measurement technology to monitor shaft-bearing housing relative vibration. This monitor is a 1-slot module and can be used in scenarios where the housing mass is much larger than the rotor and the bearing housing vibrates less over the speed range from startup to operation.
Function & Features
Measurement technology:
- Non-contact eddy current sensor: measures the relative displacement between the shaft and the bearing seat (typical range 0-500μm).
- Dual-channel independent monitoring: A6110 supports vibration measurement in X/Y orthogonal directions (two sensors are required).
Protection function:
- Relay hard-wired output: A6110 directly triggers shutdown protection.
- Dynamic compensation algorithm: eliminates sensor nonlinearity error (±1% full-scale accuracy).
