Product Description
GE IC695CMM002 is a serial communications module for the PACSystems RX3i series. It features two independent, isolated serial ports and can be installed in the RX3i universal backplane, which can accommodate up to six of these modules.
An upgraded version, the IC695CMM004, provides four serial ports. The CMM00xCA version has a corrosion-resistant coating, while the CMM004LT supports low-temperature (-40°C) applications.
Function & Features
- Each port on the GE IC695CMM002 can be independently configured in MODBUS (master/slave) mode, DNP3 (master/slave, consistent across all ports on the same module), CCM slave mode, and Serial I/O (custom serial protocol) mode.
- The GE IC695CMM002 supports RS-232 and RS-485/422 communications (software selectable). In RS-232 mode, RTS/CTS and RFR/CTS are supported.
- For firmware version 1.32 and above, the GE IC695CMM002 can be configured with half-duplex flow control in Machine Edition Release 5.90, SP1, SIM 6, and later. Other versions default to full-duplex mode.
