Product Description
Honeywell MC-TAMT04 (51305890-175) LLMUX2 TC FTA is a thermocouple (TC) field terminal adapter (FTA) with local cold junction reference (CJR), compression terminals, single IOP interface, surface coating, and CE compliance. Each FTA supports 16 channels and has two types: one provides 16 RTD inputs and the other provides 16 TC or millivolt (MV) inputs, which can be combined to meet the mixed needs of TC, MV or RTD measurement points.
This FTA is used in temperature input systems and supports connection with solid-state PMIO LLMUX FTA to realize the collection and fault detection of temperature variables.
Function & Features
- Multiple input types supported: 16-channel TC/mV input or 16-channel RTD input (two FTA models optional). Supports mixed deployment of two FTAs in the same system to achieve free combination of TC, RTD, and mV signals.
- Cold Junction Compensation (CJC): MC-TAMT04 compensates for thermocouple cold junction errors through local CJC devices or remote CJC (configuration required).
- Open Circuit Detection (OTD): MC-TAMT04's configurable OTD function detects sensor open circuit faults within a 1-second scan cycle. In case of fault, NAN (not a number) is output and soft faults are marked.
- Compression Terminal Connection: MC-TAMT04 uses Compression Terminals to ensure firm wiring and vibration resistance.
