Product Description
Woodward 9907-163 is a 505 microprocessor-based steam turbine digital governor designed to control single-actuator or dual-actuator (split-range) steam turbines. It integrates field-configurable steam turbine controls and an operator control panel (OCP) in a single unit. It supports single-actuator or dual-actuator (split-range) steam turbines.
Note: Extraction steam turbines require the 505E version.
Function & Features
- Control Mode: The 9907-163 can control one primary parameter at a time and simultaneously limit another. Controllable/limited parameters include, but are not limited to, speed/load, inlet steam pressure or flow, and exhaust (backpressure) pressure or flow.
- Integrated Operator Control Panel: The front of the 9907-163 features a complete operator control panel with a two-line display (24 characters per line) and 30 keys.
- First-Out Trip Indication: The 9907-163 records the first of up to five trip input signals.
- Critical Speed Avoidance: The 9907-163 can be configured for two critical speed zones and automatically accelerates to avoid them.
