Woodward 9907-147 Digital Overspeed Trip Device
Item Number:9907-147
Brand:Woodward
Price:$1
Lead Time: In stock
Description:Digital Overspeed Trip Device
Payment: T/T
Product Description
Woodward 9907-147 Digital Overspeed Trip Device is part of the ProTech® 203 Overspeed Protection System. It is designed to protect engines or other rotating machinery from damage caused by excessive speed. It monitors speed and initiates shutdown when an overspeed condition occurs. It uses a triple redundant architecture and 2/3 voting logic to keep the machinery running safely.
Function & Features
- Three Independent Magneto-Electro-Physical Units (MPUs): The 9907-147 senses the prime mover speed via three magnetic sensors (MPUs), each capable of independent speed calculations.
- 2/3 Voting Logic: The 9907-147 uses three identical, independent speed sensing units, with a 2-out-of-3 voting configuration for the trip relay.
- Digital Display: The 9907-147 front panel features a light-emitting diode (LED) and digital display that displays the speed of each probe and the maximum detected speed.
- Trip Mode: The 9907-147 defaults to a power-off trip (fail-safe) or an optional power-on trip (special installation requirements)
