Product Description

GE IS200EBRGH2AEB is an Exciter Bridge Interface Board (EB) that connects the low-power control signals of the EX2100e controller to the high-power thyristor (SCR) rectifier bridge and its associated input/output (I/O) devices. It manages bridge triggering and monitors bridge health. It is used in static excitation systems to control generator field current.

Note: The H2 model is designed for systems using 77mm or smaller thyristors. Systems using 100mm thyristors require the H1 model.

General Electric IS200EBRGH2AEB Exciter Bridge Interface Board

Functions and features

  • Bridge Control and Triggering: The IS200EBRGH2AEB controller receives commands and generates signals to trigger and control the thyristor bridge, regulating the generator's excitation.
  • Status Monitoring and Feedback: The IS200EBRGH2AEB interfaces with and processes multiple signals from the power bridge, including fan startup control and operating status feedback for the bridge cabinet, overtemperature and blown fuse detection, and bridge arm current signals measured by Rogowski coils.
  • Power Management: The IS200EBRGH2AEB accepts multiple inputs and creates a DC bus for the system. All DC sources are coupled through diodes to form a unified DC bus.
