General Electric IC695LRE001 Serial Bus Transmitter Module

GE IC695LRE001 is a Serial Bus Transmitter Module, which belongs to the PACSystems RX3i series. Its main function is to realize the communication between the RX3i universal backplane (IC695 model) and the serial expansion backplane and remote backplane (IC694 or IC693 model). It builds a data transmission bridge between the universal backplane and the serial expansion backplane by converting the signal levels required by the universal backplane and the serial expansion backplane.

Note: Hot-swap is not supported, and power must be turned off for installation/removal.

Function & Features

• Specific communication: IC695LRE001 is specifically designed for communication between PACSystems RX3i Universal Backplane (IC695 model) and Serial Expansion/Remote Backplane (IC694 or IC693 model).

• Fixed installation position: IC695LRE001 must be installed in the dedicated expansion connector on the right end of the Universal Backplane and cannot be installed in other slots at will.

• Independent control of expansion backplanes: Expansion backplanes and remote backplanes can be powered off separately without affecting the operation of other backplanes; however, power failure will generate a "LOSS_OF_MODULE" fault in the PLC fault table for each module in the backplane until power is restored, during which time these modules will not be scanned.
