Honeywell 8C-PAONA1 (Part Number: 51454469-175) Analog Output Module (AO) can provide high-level constant current to actuators and recording/indicating devices to drive these devices to work normally. It has fail-safe (FAILOPT) configuration and disconnection detection functions and can be used in process control, valve regulation, analog drive equipment, etc.
Function & Features
- 8C-PAONA1 supports channel-by-channel configuration of fault behavior, optional:
- HOLD LAST VALUE
- SHED to SAFE VALUE
- When the module electronics fails, the output automatically returns to zero (safe state).
- Open-wire Detection: 8C-PAONA1 can detect open-wires on site and alarm through channel soft fault indication. This function can help operators find open-wire problems in signal transmission lines in time to avoid analog output signals being unable to be transmitted to the target device due to line failures.
