GE IC697MDL653 is a 24V DC positive and negative logic input module that provides 32 discrete input points divided into 4 independently isolated 8-point groups, and the input current-voltage characteristics comply with IEC standards (Class 1). This module is compatible with IC697 series programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and I/O parameters are configured through programming software.

- The IC697MDL653 contains 32 input points organized into 4 independently isolated 8-point groups.
- One of the input points can be configured as an interrupt input (for IC697 PLCs only).
- The IC697MDL653 requires no jumpers or DIP switches, and I/O references are configured via MS-DOS or Windows (95/NT) based programming software connected via Ethernet TCP/IP or SNP ports.
