Product Description
GE IC695PNC001 (PNC001) is a PROFINET controller module in the PACSystems RX3i series, used to connect the RX3i controller to a PROFINET local area network (LAN). This module supports PROFINET IO Version 2.2 and offers dual speeds of 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps. Status indicators include OK, LAN, STATUS, CONFIG, ACTIVE, and port lights.
Note:
10 Mbps is only used for non-PROFINET communications (such as Ping/Telnet).
The SFP module must be purchased by the user (not included).
Function & Features
- The IC695PNC001 supports 10/100/1000 Mbps copper cables, 100/1000 Mbps multimode fiber, and 100/1000 Mbps single-mode fiber.
- PROFINET communication requires a 100/1000 Mbps link rate; 10 Mbps only supports other Ethernet communications such as ping and telnet.
- The IC695PNC001 uses PAC Machine Edition (PME) software to fully configure the controller and connected platforms or third-party I/O devices.
- The IC695PNC001 firmware can be upgraded using the Win Loader tool (if the host CPU has a serial port) or a web-based tool (if a serial port is not available).
