3500/42M 176449-02 is a four-channel monitoring module in the Bently Nevada 3500 series. The 3500/42M Proximitor seismic monitor drives the alarm by continuously comparing the monitoring parameters with the configured alarm set points, thereby protecting the machinery. It is dedicated to vibration and position protection of rotating machinery.

The module monitors the health status of the equipment by collecting input signals from the proximity probe (Proximitor) and the seismic sensor (Seismic Transducer), and triggers an alarm when the parameters exceed the limit.

Function & Features

3500/42M 176449-02 supports monitoring types (programmable per channel): Radial Vibration, Thrust Position, Differential Expansion, Acceleration, Eccentricity, Shaft Absolute, Velocity,REBAM (Bearing Energy Monitoring), Circular Acceptance Region Analysis.

Channel pair programming: 4 channels can be divided into 2 groups (1-2 channels and 3-4 channels), each group independently performs different monitoring functions.

Hardware-level signal conditioning: automatic gain control (AGC), anti-aliasing filtering (-40dB/decade), 16-bit ADC conversion (±0.5% FSR accuracy).

Software analysis functions: Peak Hold, Phase Reference (Keyphasor® Synchronization).
