GE IS200TPROH1BBB module is part of the Mark VI series of steam turbine control systems. It is a key component of the emergency overspeed and synchronization protection system of the steam turbine. The module is responsible for the transmission of key signals, and transmits basic input signals such as speed, temperature, generator voltage and bus voltage to the VPRO (overspeed protection module).
In terms of emergency overspeed protection, it works in conjunction with the VPRO module to prevent the steam turbine from a dangerous overspeed condition. At the same time, it and the VPRO form a synchronization protection system to ensure that the steam turbine operates safely within the specified parameters.
