Emerson A6210 Thrust Position, Differential Expansion, And Rod Position Monitor
Item Number: A6210
Brand:Emerson
Lead Time: In stock
Description: Thrust Position,Differential Expansion, and Rod Position Monitor
Payment: T/T
Product Description
Emerson A6210 Thrust Position, Differential Expansion, and Rod Position Monitor is one of the modules of AMS 6500 Machinery Health Monitoring System. It is mainly used to monitor the relevant operating parameters of turbomachinery and reciprocating compressors. It supports three monitoring modes: axial displacement (Thrust Position), differential expansion (Differential Expansion) and piston rod position (Rod Position).
Function & Features
- Thrust Position: A6210 monitors the axial displacement of the rotor in real time to prevent the rotor from colliding with the housing due to wear or failure of the thrust bearing. 1~3 non-contact displacement sensors (such as eddy current probes) are axially installed at the shaft end or near the thrust plate.
- Differential Expansion: A6210 monitors the thermal expansion difference between the rotor and the housing to avoid friction caused by uneven expansion (such as the start-up and shutdown phase of the turbine). Supports Tandem/Complementary and Cone/Ramp working modes.
- Rod Position: Used for reciprocating compressors to monitor piston rod sinking (Rider Band wear). A6210 measures the piston rod position through a displacement probe and sets the alarm threshold to prevent the piston from contacting the cylinder body and damaging the equipment.
