Product Description

The IS420ESWBH3A is an Ethernet IONet switch manufactured and designed by General Electric and is part of the Mark VIe series used in GE's distributed gas turbine control systems. It has 8 ports, 10/100BASE-TX. The ESWB Ethernet 10/100 switch is designed to meet the needs of real-time industrial control solutions and is a must for all IONet switches used in Mark VIe and VIeS safety control systems.

It is a DIN - rail mount module. To meet speed and feature requirements, the following features are provided:

802.3, 802.3U, 802.x, compatible

10/100 copper with auto-negotiation

Full/half duplex auto-negotiation

100 Mbps FX - Uplink Ports

HP - MDIX Auto-sensing

LEDs indicate link presence, activity, duplex and speed port status (two colors per LED)

LEDs indicate power status

Minimum 256kb buffer with 4k Media Access Control (MAC) address.

The Mark VIE Turbine Control System series of IS420ESWBH3A printed circuit board (PCB) is a GE Mark product line that can be applied to various types of Mark VIe series compatible wind, steam and gas turbine automatic drive components. The Mark VIe Turbine Control System series of IS420ESWBH3A IONET switchboard equipment utilizes patented Speedtronic control system technology.

GE Ethernet/IONet switches are available in two hardware forms: ESWA and ESWB. Each hardware form is available in five versions (H1A through H5A) with varying fiber port configuration options, including no fiber ports, multimode fiber ports, or single-mode (long reach) fiber ports. ESWx switches can be DIN rail mounted using one of three GE qualified DIN rail mounting clips, depending on the hardware form (ESWA or ESWB) and the DIN rail mounting orientation selected. Clips are ordered separately according to the table below. Mounting screws are included with each switch.
