Product Description
GE VMIVME-3122 is a servo controller produced by General Electric (GE), mainly used in industrial automation and motion control applications. The following is detailed information and features about General Electric VMIVME-3122:
Product Overview
VMIVME-3122 is a high-resolution, 16 bit, 64 channel analog scanning and digital input board designed specifically for VME bus system applications.
It supports a large amount of analog input traffic and minimizes the involvement of host processors.
Technical specifications
Input characteristics: It has 64 analog input channels, and the gain of each channel can be individually programmed or set as a fixed gain common to all channels through software.
Conversion and storage: Analog inputs are scanned and digitized in sequence, and digital values are stored in a dual port data buffer that can be accessed at any time from the VME bus.
Scanning rate: After resetting, the circuit board will be initialized in 64 channel automatic scanning mode at a rate of 100 KHz. In standard performance mode, a scanning rate of 50 kHz can be achieved through programming.
Data buffer: The size of the data buffer can be selected from 16 to 1000 channels, in binary increments from 16 to 1024 data words.
Control functions
The timed data pulse train is controlled by an interval timer and can provide repeated or single pulse train intervals of up to 687 seconds.
The data ready flag can be used during or at the end of the scan, and interrupt requests can be generated simultaneously with the flag.
Interface and communication
Support VME bus system.
Has strong signal processing capabilities and can handle both analog and digital signal inputs.
Support multiple communication protocols to meet different application requirements.
