The IS200EPSMG1A is an excitation power module developed by GE specifically for the EX2100 turbine control system. It serves as a core power supply unit within the EX2100 excitation control system. This module consists of a buck regulator and a push-pull inverter, and, together with the EPSMG2 module (equipped with the EPSD daughter card) used in the regulator control system, forms a complete power solution for the EX2100 platform.

The IS200EPSMG1A converts the 125V DC input provided by the Power Distribution Module (PDM) into multiple isolated outputs:
Control power: +5V DC (logic circuits)
Analog power: ±15V DC (sensor/signal conditioning)
Drive power: +24V DC (I/O modules, fans, demagnetization/crowbar modules)
Special applications: +70V DC (terminal board contact wet voltage)
IS200EPSMG1A provides working power for EX2100 controller (M1/M2/C), including demagnetization module (EDEX), ground detection module, magnetic field voltage/current sensor, etc.
