Product Description
Foxboro FBM242 P0916TA is an externally powered discrete output module, the FBM242 contains 16 discrete output channels, powered by an external power supply, rated up to 2A at 60V DC. The associated termination assembly (TA) provides discrete outputs for 2A 60V DC loads, relay outputs (120V AC / 125V DC or 240V AC), or relay outputs with power distribution and fuses.
Required components
Terminal assembly (TA): for field wiring (including fuse/current limit)
External power supply: must meet the load voltage/current requirements
Safety restrictions
Overload is strictly prohibited (≤2A per channel)
Relay life: mechanical relay 10^5 times (@ rated load)
Function & Features
- Multiple output types supported: FBM242 supports discrete output signals such as 15 to 60V DC, 120V AC / 125V DC, 240V AC. Solid-state output (SSR) or mechanical relays are optional.
- Configurable programs: FBM242 can execute discrete I/O or ladder logic programs, and has configurable options such as input filter time, fail-safe configuration, fail-safe fallback, continuous or momentary output.
