General Electric IS220PRTDH1BC RTD Input Board
Product Description
GE IS220PRTDH1BC is an RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) signal input module. It is a dedicated temperature signal interface for connecting RTD temperature sensors to the Mark VIe control network. The module conditions and samples the weak RTD resistance signal and transmits the temperature data to the host controller via Ethernet.
Functions and features
- Channel Configuration: The IS220PRTDH1BCsupports eight standard RTD channels. When used with the dedicated TRTD terminal board, it can support up to 16 RTD channels.
- Signal Sensing: A three-wire RTD sensor in the field senses temperature changes, causing its resistance to change accordingly.
- Signal Connection: The IS220PRTDH1BC RTD sensor leads are connected to a TRTD or similar terminal block.
- Signal Processing: The IS220PRTDH1BC module, plugged into the terminal block, provides excitation current to the RTD, measures its voltage signal, and performs analog-to-digital conversion.
