Note: The IS220YTURS1A complies with safety standards. If the module fails or if external power or communication is lost, the system can enter a predefined safe state.
Function & Features
- Speed Monitoring: The IS220YTURS1A provides up to four passive magnetoelectric speed sensor interfaces with a wide frequency range (2 Hz-20,000 Hz) for measuring rotor speed, which serves as the basis for overspeed protection.
- Flame Detection: The IS220YTURS1A processes up to eight flame sensor signals. It detects voltage pulses (>2.5V) and counts the pulses within a configurable time window to determine whether a flame is present.
- Electrical Parameter Monitoring: The IS220YTURS1A monitors bus voltage and generator voltage inputs, as well as shaft voltage and current signals (for monitoring bearing insulation condition, etc.).
- Configurable Parameters: Many parameters within the IS220YTURS1A module, such as the flame detection time window, are configurable based on the application. These parameters are indicated by (CFG) in the test documentation.
