ICS Triplex T9402 is an important component in the ICS Triplex Trusted TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) safety system. It adopts a triple architecture (TMR) to sample and process input signals through three independent channels to ensure that the system can still provide correct outputs in the event of a fault. A 2/3 voting rule is used to ensure that the system can still infer the correct input state even if one channel fails. A test mode is supported to verify the operating status of the input channels. - Triple Architecture (TMR - Triple Modular Redundancy): T9402 is equipped with 3 independent channels, each channel independently samples and processes input signals. This architecture can effectively provide redundancy and fault tolerance to ensure the output in the event of a system failure. Even if one or two channels fail, T9402 can still guarantee the correctness of the output results.
- Voting Logic: T9402 uses voting logic (such as 2/3 voting rule) to determine the final output value of each channel. Even if a channel fails, the system can correctly infer the state of each digital input through the input of the remaining two channels.
- Diagnostic Coverage: Provides comprehensive diagnostic coverage to facilitate fault detection and fault isolation. This includes monitoring of individual input channels, power supply status and internal circuits.
- 16 digital input channels: The T9402 provides 16 digital input channels, each of which can be configured as a Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) contact.
