Product Description
GE IS200VAICH1D is a contact input group isolation terminal board for the GE Mark Vi system, part of the VAIC (Analog Input/Output Control) series.
This terminal board is used in conjunction with the VAIC processing board to support 20 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs (each terminal board provides 10 inputs and 2 outputs).
It is connected to the VME rack via a cable to allow signal conversion and transmission.
Function & Features
- Input: The IS200VAICH1D receives 20 analog signals (voltage, 4-20mA or 1mA), and the input type is configured through the terminal board jumper.
- Output: The IS200VAICH1D controls 4 analog outputs (2 fixed 4-20mA, and the other 2 selectable 4-20mA or 0-200mA).
- Conversion: The IS200VAICH1D board converts the analog inputs to digital values and transmits them to the controller (VCMI board) through the VME backplane; the digital outputs are then converted to analog current to drive external circuits.
- System limit detection: The IS200VAICH1D has programmable high and low thresholds, and supports alarm triggering and reset (via RESET SYS).
