Product Description
Bently Nevada 3300/16 XY/Gap dual-channel vibration monitor is a protective device for large rotating machinery. It continuously monitors and evaluates two independent radial vibration channels as well as the average position (clearance) of the shaft. This is achieved by receiving signals from two proximity probe/probe systems.
Note: The 3300/16 is an upgrade from the earlier 3300/15 model, with the main improvement being the addition of shaft position (clearance) monitoring and alarm functionality.
Function & Features
- Dual-channel radial vibration monitoring: The 3300/16 can simultaneously monitor axial and radial vibrations in two mutually perpendicular directions (usually the X and Y directions), providing independent, processed vibration values (usually in micrometers or mils) for each channel.
- Shaft average position (clearance) monitoring: This is a key difference from the 3300/15 model. The 3300/16 monitors the static average position of the shaft by calculating the average value of the DC clearance voltage of the two probes, and can detect shaft drift, bearing wear, etc.
- Dynamic signal output: The 3300/16 provides a buffered output proportional to the original vibration signal, which can be used to connect to an oscilloscope, data acquisition unit or online condition monitoring system for analysis.
