Product Description
GE IC697BEM713 Bus Transmitter Module (BTM) is an expansion interface module in the IC697 PLC system that is used to expand the I/O capacity of the main CPU rack. The module can expand up to 7 additional IC697 PLC racks from the CPU rack.
The module occupies a single slot and has two connectors: the top connector is used to connect to the programming device, and the bottom connector is used to daisy-chain the expansion racks through the Bus Receiver Modules.
Function & Features
- Interface function: IC697BEM713 has a parallel programmer interface, which can be connected to a programming device for program writing, debugging and configuration. It provides a bus expansion interface, which forms a daisy chain connection with the bus receiving module of the expansion rack through the bottom connector.
- No hardware configuration: IC697BEM713 is configured through software (MS-DOS or Windows programming tool) without DIP switches.
- Installation and configuration: IC697BEM713 only occupies 1 slot, but it should be noted that the power module must be placed in the leftmost slot (Slot 0), and the BTM cannot be installed. And it is installed in the PLC system through MS-DOS or Windows programming software.
