GE IS230PCAAH1B Core Analog I/O Module is a core analog input/output module designed by General Electric. It belongs to the Mark VIe series and is used in distributed control systems.

It is designed specifically for heavy-duty gas turbines. The module works with the matching TCAS/TCAT terminal board to provide key analog signal acquisition and output functions required for gas turbine operation. It is suitable for single module (Simplex), dual redundant (Dual) and triple redundant (TMR) system architectures.

  • Capabilities include thermocouples, 4 - 20 mA current loops, seismic monitoring, linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) excitation and inputs, pulse frequency, and servo coil outputs.
  • A single TCAT termination board fans out signal inputs to one, two, or three connected PCAA modules; the PCAA modules separate signals into two categories: fan-out signals routed through the TCAT termination board and signals specific to the PCAA module.
