General Electric IC695PNS001 PROFINET Scanner
Product Description
The GE IC695PNS001 is a PACSystems RX3i PROFINET scanner module that connects a remote RX3i or Series 90-30 I/O rack to a PROFINET I/O controller. It is responsible for scanning the modules in the rack, acquiring input data, providing output data, and exchanging data on the PROFINET I/O LAN at the configured production rate. The module supports 10/100/1000 Mbps copper cable and 100/1000 Mbps multimode/singlemode fiber.
Note:Its advanced version, IC695PNS101, adds Sequence of Events (SOE) function based on PNS001 and supports IRIG-B time synchronization (accuracy 1ms).
Function & Features
- PROFINET I/O Scanning: IC695PNS001 scans remote I/O racks, exchanges input/output data, and supports data transfer between PROFINET controllers (such as PLCs, DCSs) and remote I/Os.
- 4 Switched Ethernet Ports: 2×RJ-45 Copper Interfaces (10/100/1000 Mbps, Shielded Twisted Pair). 2×SFP Fiber Slots (supports user-selected 100/1000 Mbps Multimode/Singlemode SFP modules).
- Proficy Machine Edition (PME) Configuration: IC695PNS001 configures all supported 90-30/RX3i I/O modules through PME software.
- Module Replacement: IC695PNS001 supports transfer of device names via SD card, eliminating the need to reconfigure tools.
