Product Description

Foxboro FBM203 RTD input module include FBM203/b/c/d types, which are input modules for connecting platinum, nickel, and copper resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) and contain 8 RTD input channels. Different models of modules have different requirements for the wiring and resistance range of RTD sensor inputs, and each analog input is electrically isolated from other channels and ground.

The module can convert the electrical input signal from the field sensor into a signal suitable for connecting to an optional redundant fieldbus, and can also execute analog input applications, providing configurable options for conversion time and rate of change limits.

  • Multiple Input Channels: The FBM203 has eight RTD input channels, which can connect multiple resistance temperature detectors simultaneously to monitor multiple temperature points.
  • Configurable: The FBM203 implements analog input applications and provides configurable options for conversion time and rate of change limits.
  • High-precision measurement: The FBM203 converts the resistance change of the RTD sensor to a corresponding temperature value by using sigma-delta data conversion technology for each channel.
  • Terminal Assemblies: The FBM203 is equipped with two types of terminal assemblies, a DIN rail mount TA similar to those used in other 200 series fieldbus modules, and a baseplate mount TA that can be directly mounted on the field I/O connector of the 200 series baseplate.
