The Bently Nevada 3500/45 Position Monitor (176449-04 + 135137-01) is a four-channel module designed to provide accurate measurement and protection for rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors.
This module continuously monitors shaft position, axial thrust movement, and dynamic vibration using Proximitor® proximity probes or compatible eddy-current displacement sensors. It separates the incoming signal into static (DC) and dynamic (AC) components — where the DC value represents the average shaft position or thrust wear, and the AC value represents shaft vibration.
The module works as part of the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System, which is one of the most widely used platforms for condition monitoring and machine protection in industrial environments.
The 176449-04 represents the rear I/O module, while the 135137-01 refers to the front monitor module. Together, they form a complete, fully functional 3500/45 monitoring unit.
