Product Description
The IOC4T 200-560-000-019 input/output card provides a signal interface for the MPC4 mechanical protection card. Installed at the rear of the rack, it connects directly to the rack backplane via two connectors. It is associated with and installed directly behind the corresponding MPC4 card (applicable to ABE04x or ABE056 racks).
Operating in slave mode, this card communicates with the MPC4 via the Industry Pack (IP) interface (connector P2). It is primarily responsible for signal transmission, processing, and protection between sensors and external control systems.
Function & Features
- Signal Interface: The IOC4T 200-560-000-019 front panel features terminal block connectors for connecting transmission cables from the measurement chain (sensors and/or signal conditioners) and for inputting/outputting all signals to and from external control systems.
- Signal Hub: The IOC4T 200-560-000-019 connects sensors/signal conditioners to the MPC4 protection card, transmitting raw vibration and speed signals. It also provides jumper-selectable current outputs.
- Alarm and Relay: The IOC4T 200-560-000-019 features four built-in local relays that can be assigned to specific alarm signals via software control. Thirty-two digital signals representing alarms are transmitted to the chassis backplane and can be used by the optional RLC16 relay or IRC4 relay card installed in the chassis (selectable via jumpers).
