Product Description
GE IC694ALG391 is a 2-channel analog current output module that converts 12-bit binary (digital) data into analog output signals for driving field devices. The IC694ALG391 features an output hold or default value switch function and can also be used as a less accurate voltage source (current/voltage output mode is selected via a jumper or resistor on the terminals).
Function & Features
- Output Update and State Control: All channels of the GE IC694ALG391 are updated during each scan. When the CPU enters stop mode or reset, the outputs can be set to a default state (0/4 mA) or hold the last state via terminal block jumpers.
- Power Supply: When the IC694ALG391 is installed in the RX3i Universal Backplane, it can be connected via the TB1 connector on the left side of the backplane or the module terminal block.
- CPU Shutdown Processing: Outputs automatically return to zero (0 mA) or a preset value (4 mA), allowing the GE IC694ALG391 to take over the module load. To maintain the "hold last state" function during a backplane power outage, an alternative power supply is recommended.
