Product Description
IS200EPDMG1ABA is an excitation power distribution module (EPDM) developed by General Electric, which is part of the EX2100 series in GE excitation control systems. It belongs to the Mark VI series.
In terms of power supply, it receives 125V DC power from the power station battery and can accommodate up to two 120V AC inputs as backup power. It converts the AC input to 125V DC through an external AC-DC converter to ensure stable and continuous DC voltage distribution; in terms of connection and power distribution, it can provide power output for up to three IS200EGPA excitation gate pulse amplifier boards, one IS200EXTB excitation terminal board and three IS200EPSM excitation power modules.

- Power Supply: The IS200EPDM receives 125 V dc power from the station battery and accommodates up to two 120 V ac inputs for backup power. The ac inputs are converted to 125 V dc using an external AC to DC Converter (DACA), ensuring stable and continuous dc voltage distribution.
- Diode Coupling: The resulting dc voltages from the DACA units are diode-coupled to create the dc power supply, labeled P125V and R125V, which are center-grounded and nominally +62.5 V and -62.5 V to ground.
- Connectivity and Power Distribution: It provides power outputs to up to three IS200EGPA Exciter Gate Pulse Amplifier Boards (EGPA), the IS200EXTB Exciter Terminal Board (EXTB), and three IS200EPSM Exciter Power Supply Modules (EPSM).
- Individual Power Outputs: Each output is fused, has an on/off toggle switch (except the EXTB board), and a green LED indicator to confirm power availability.
