Emerson A6630 Temperature Monitor
Product Description
Emerson A6630 temperature monitor is one of the components of AMS 6500 machinery protection system. As a multi-channel temperature monitoring solution, A6630 provides temperature detection for steam turbine/gas turbine/compressor unit/hydraulic turbine unit and other equipment through RTD and thermocouple input. The detector sets a three-level alarm system: Alert, Danger, and Trip.
Function & Features
- Temperature signal input: A6630 can be connected to RTD and thermocouple temperature sensors, and can measure the temperature of different types of temperature sensors.
- Assisted fault confirmation: A6630 combines vibration and position measurement to provide fault confirmation information.
- Multi-site temperature monitoring: A6630 can be used to monitor mechanical protection related temperatures such as radial and thrust bearing metal temperatures, and can also monitor important process temperature values such as generator, rotor and stator winding temperatures, oil supply temperature, steam temperature and ambient temperature.
