Product Description
Bently Nevada 3500/42E is a 4-channel Vibration Monitor, part of the 3500 ENCORE series. This monitor collects signals from proximity (eddy-current probes) and seismic (velocity/acceleration sensors) sensors. After signal processing,3500/42E can perform various vibration and position measurements such as radial vibration and thrust position.
The 3500/42E has two installation configuration modes and can trigger alarms by comparing monitoring parameters with alarm setpoints to protect the equipment.

- Channel Pairing Programming: The 4 channels of the 3500/42E operate in pairs (Channel 1 & 2, Channel 3 & 4). Each pair of channels can perform one monitoring function, so the monitor can perform up to two different functions simultaneously.
- 3500 ENCORE System Upgrade Mode: This mode is used to upgrade the existing 3300 monitoring system to the 3500 ENCORE platform. In this mode, the 3500/42E can only use 2 channels (with limited functionality) and continues to use the original 3300 series I/O modules and relays.
- Dual Alarm Protection: The 3500/42E allows for the configuration of warning alarm points for each valid static value (processed parameters such as gap voltage, full-scale amplitude, etc.), Any two static values can be selected to configure higher-level danger alarm points.
