GE IC695CHS012 is a 12-slot universal backplane for the PACSystems RX3i series. Featuring a dual-bus architecture, it serves as the foundation for control systems, supporting both PCI bus (IC695 series) and serial bus (IC693/IC694 series) I/O and intelligent modules. The IC695CHS012 must be installed in a cabinet with a minimum NEMA/UL Type 1 or IP20 (IEC60529) rating.
Function & Features
- The IC695CHS012 features a terminal block on the left side with a backplane ground point and an integrated ground bar for connecting module or shield ground wires.
- The IC695CHS012 has a serial expansion connector for connecting to a serial expansion or remote backplane. The slot numbers are printed on the backplane for reference during configuration.
- The GE IC695CHS012 must be installed in an enclosure with a minimum NEMA/UL Type 1 or IP20 rating. For use in ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas, it must be installed in an enclosure with an IP54 rating or higher.
