Product Description

Bently Nevada 74712-01-10-02-00 is a member of the Seismoprobe family of velocity sensors used to measure absolute vibration of a bearing housing, housing or structure relative to free space.

The system is a two-wire design consisting of a sensor and a dedicated cable, based on moving coil technology, with an output voltage signal directly proportional to the vibration velocity. Unlike solid-state velocity sensors, which are essentially accelerometers with embedded integration circuitry, the Seismoprobe's moving coil design is less sensitive to shock or pulse excitation and does not require external power.

Note: Model 74712 is a high-temperature version of the 9200 series.
