General Electric IC200MDL940 Relay Output Module
Product Description
GE IC200MDL940 is a 16-channel independent isolated relay output module similar to the BXIOOR162 module for use with VersaMax PLC systems. The module uses Form A (normally open) relay contacts that close when the CPU output logic is "1". The module is powered through the backplane, but the load must be driven by an external power supply.
Function & Features
- Output configuration: IC200MDL940 provides 16 independently isolated A-type relay outputs. When the host CPU is activated and the corresponding output logic bit is "1", the contact is closed and the load needs to be powered by an external power supply.
- Power supply and processing: The IC200MDL940 module runs on the backplane. The 5-volt power demand of the backplane increases with the number of points that are turned on at the same time.
- Hazardous location installation: IC200MDL940 is marked as a device suitable for Class I, Group A, B, C, D, Zone 2 hazardous locations. It is only suitable for these areas or non-hazardous locations; power must be turned off when replacing or wiring, and it is prohibited to replace components to avoid affecting use.
