The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition monitoring module used within the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system. It provides continuous monitoring of vibration, displacement, and position parameters on rotating and reciprocating machinery.

This module accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers, processes them into engineering units, and compares the results against user-defined alert and danger setpoints. The 3500/42M is a key component of modern condition-based maintenance systems, offering both protection and diagnostic data for critical equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors.

Each pair of channels can be configured independently, allowing a single module to perform multiple measurement functions simultaneously. The module provides both static (average) and dynamic (vibration waveform) data for advanced machinery diagnostics.
