Product Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition monitoring module used in the Bently Nevada 3500 Series system. It accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers and processes them to measure parameters such as radial vibration, shaft position, acceleration, velocity, and differential expansion.
Designed for continuous online monitoring, the 3500/42M provides both protection and diagnostics for critical rotating equipment, such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors. It continuously compares vibration and position measurements to configured alarm and danger setpoints, issuing alarms or trip commands when limits are exceeded. Each pair of channels can be configured independently, allowing multiple monitoring functions within one module.
The 3500/42M (140471-01) variant is a commonly used configuration with standard I/O modules and supports a wide range of transducer systems.
