Product Description

General Electric DS200TCPAG1AJD Control Processor

The module is available in one of several units on internal printed circuit boards (PCBs) installed in GE Speedtronic Series equipment. The DS200 series circuit boards are equipped with Speedtronic Mark V modules. Mark V modules are a series of programmable turbine control systems designed to manage and control gas and steam power turbines and power generation applications.

The DS200 series boards are suitable for use with the Speedtronic Mark V turbine control system series modules. The Mark V modules are designed as part of the programmable turbine control system series specifically for the management and control of gas and steam turbines and power generation applications.

The DS200TCPAG1A printed circuit board is designated as a Turbine Control Processor Board. The DS200TCPAG1A is installed into the Mark V unit at its core in the control panel. The board is outfitted with a series of fuses and power distribution cables, rated for 125 volts of direct current. There are also a set of indicator LED lights, which alert the operators if any of the fuses are in disrepair.

Features:

High-performance processing: The processor is designed to handle the complex algorithms required for real-time control systems, such as those used for turbine control. It often has an Ethernet port for communication with other system components such as HMI (human machine interface), I/O modules, and other processors on the network. Redundancy In mission-critical applications such as power generation, redundancy is essential for reliability. The system may have redundant processors to ensure continued operation in the event of a failure.
