Product Description
Bently Nevada 330850-50-05 3300 XL 25 mm Sensor System consists of a stand-alone 25 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor. The 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) output gives the system a linear range of 12.7 mm (500 mils). With this linear range, the 3300 XL 25 mm Sensor System is suitable for measuring differential expansion (DE) in medium to large steam turbine generators, which is caused by the difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator (casing).

- Differential Expansion Measurement Capability: The Bently Nevada 330850-50-05 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor provides differential expansion measurement using two close proximity sensors that view a collar or bevel at a distance from the thrust bearing.
- Mounting Arrangement Type: Both sensors view the same side of the collar. Two complementary input sensors view each side of the collar, effectively doubling the measurable differential expansion range.
- Physical Replacement: The Bently Nevada 330850-50-05 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor is available in a variety of housing configurations and physically replaces all standard 7200 25 mm, 7200 35 mm, and 25 mm DE integrated sensor systems (including side and rear exit probes).
