Product Description
GE IS220PPROH1A is a Mark Vie Standby Turbine Protection (PPRO) I/O module for independent backup overspeed protection systems on gas and steam turbines.
This module is typically used with SPRO (simplex protection) or TPROH#C (triple redundant protection) terminal blocks. It also provides generator synchronization verification and serves as an independent monitor for the main control system.
Note: Voltage signal wiring is subject to length and wire gauge limitations.
Function & Features
- Three IS220PPROH1A modules can be installed on a single SPRO terminal board (standalone protection) or TPROH#C terminal board (TMR redundant protection). They can also be installed directly on a TREA terminal board to implement a single-board TMR protection system.
- The IS220PPROH1A is equipped with two independent 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces for IONet communication with the control module.
- The IS220PPROH1A features a processor, hardware reset circuitry, a watchdog timer, and a built-in sensor for temperature tracking.
- The IS220PPROH1A supports barrier or box terminal block connections.
